Each box consists of three wood types - maple, walnut, and Sapele - all compliment each other very nicely. Walnut is dark, Sapele is red and maple is light.
All of the features are deeply engraved so they stand out in a bold appearance. The wood has a clear coat for protection and to bring out the beautiful grain. No two pieces of wood are exactly alike so grain and colors may vary slightly.
It has been designed to either stand up on its own or lay flat. The top is removable but does fit nice and snugly.
